Eligibility
To use KintaTair services you must be at least 18 years old or acting on behalf of an organisation with authority to enter into contracts. Accounts created by minors or without proper authorization may be suspended. Example: a procurement manager signing on behalf of a retail chain must have authority to bind the company to hosting and integration agreements.
Users must be 18 years of age or older to register an account and order devices or services directly from KintaTair without parental or legal guardian consent.
You must use the services lawfully and not for harmful or illegal purposes. Examples of prohibited activity include attempting to defeat device security, using the platform to distribute unlawful content, or deploying devices in ways that violate export control or local compliance requirements.
KintaTair services are offered primarily in Malaysia and may have geographic or regulatory restrictions for export, cloud hosting, or integration with local utilities. Availability and data residency vary by product and region; commercial customers should consult their sales representative for deployment-specific constraints.
Account terms
Some KintaTair services require an account. Account holders are responsible for maintaining accurate contact and billing information and for activity that occurs under their accounts. Example: a facilities administrator should keep administrator lists current to ensure critical alerts reach the right personnel.
You are responsible for providing true, accurate, current and complete information when registering an account or ordering services. Inaccurate information may delay support or device provisioning.
Keep your credentials secure. Use strong, unique passwords and enable multi-factor authentication where available. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access so we can assist with containment and recovery.
Accounts and subscriptions are personal to the registrant and may not be transferred without prior written consent from KintaTair, except as part of a corporate sale or reorganisation where notice is provided.
If you suspect your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at [email protected] or +60128365198 with relevant account identifiers and any evidence. Example: report unexpected device configuration changes or unfamiliar administrator accounts so we can contribute and recommend remediation.
KintaTair may suspend access to accounts or services if there is a security risk, suspected fraudulent activity, or legal requirement. Example: suspension may occur while we verify device ownership following a disputed transfer or after detection of firmware tampering.
Service description
KintaTair provides hardware devices, firmware, cloud analytics, software interfaces and professional services designed to monitor and help manage indoor environmental conditions in commercial and residential settings. Services include data collection from sensors, AI-assisted pattern detection to support operational decisions, scheduled maintenance workflows and integration connectors for third-party building systems. Example deployment scenarios: a small office pilot using a single gateway and three sensor nodes, or a commercial kitchen integrating device telemetry into an existing building management system.
KintaTair may modify, add, or discontinue features from time to time. We will provide reasonable advance notice for material changes that affect service operation or billing where practicable. Example: deprecation of an older firmware platform will be communicated with migration guidance and timelines.
We strive to keep services available but may perform scheduled maintenance or experience unplanned outages. Service availability depends on internet connectivity, third-party cloud services, and on-site network reliability. Example: a firmware update window may temporarily suspend remote monitoring while devices reboot.
User rules and acceptable use
When using KintaTair services you agree to follow acceptable use rules focused on security, compliance and respectful behaviour. The rules below are practical examples rather than an exhaustive list.
- Do not attempt to bypass device authentication, remove tamper-detection markers, or reverse-engineer firmware.
- Do not upload or transmit unlawful content, personally identifiable information of third parties without consent, or data obtained illegally.
- Operate devices in accordance with safety instructions and installation guides; do not place devices in hazardous environments not described in product documentation.
- Respect third-party systems when integrating; use documented APIs and avoid creating excessive automated requests that degrade service.
- Do not impersonate KintaTair staff or misrepresent affiliation when interacting with customers, partners or support channels.
- Comply with export controls, local regulations and building codes when installing and operating devices.
- Report security incidents, misuse or policy violations promptly to KintaTair so they can be addressed with minimal operational impact.
User content and data
User content includes device telemetry, configuration settings, uploaded documents, labels and notes associated with your account. This section explains ownership, license and responsibilities associated with that content, with practical examples.
You retain ownership of user-generated content and device data you upload or provide, subject to any rights you grant in these terms. Example: a tenant retains ownership of notes and tags they add to device records in a managed account.
By providing content to KintaTair you grant a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, host, copy, reproduce, modify, and process that content to provide, operate and improve the services. We may aggregate and anonymize data for product insights and case-study materials (without revealing identifiable customer information) to illustrate practical deployment results.
You are responsible for the legality, accuracy and safety of user content. Do not upload personal data of third parties without appropriate consent. Example: when importing occupant contact lists for alerting, ensure each contact has consent to receive automated messages.
You may request removal of user content via the privacy request process. In operational scenarios where data is required for compliance or billing records, certain retention may apply under law or contractual obligations. Example: device warranty and maintenance records may be retained for a defined period even after user-requested deletion of non-essential telemetry.
Intellectual property
All intellectual property rights in KintaTair software, firmware, device designs, logos, and documentation are owned by or licensed to KintaTair. Except for the limited rights expressly granted to you in these terms, no other rights are transferred. Example: you may install firmware updates provided by KintaTair but you may not reproduce the firmware binary or create derivative works.
- Do not copy, modify, or create derivative works of KintaTair software or device firmware except as explicitly permitted in writing.
- Do not remove or alter any proprietary notices, labels or digital signatures included with devices or software.
- Do not use KintaTair activity or logos in marketing or press materials without prior written consent.
Paid services and subscriptions
KintaTair offers paid services including device purchases, installation services, monitoring subscriptions, analytics packages and enterprise integrations. Pricing and service tiers are described in your order form or the online purchase flow and are subject to these terms.
Pricing depends on device model, subscription tier and professional service scope. Example tiers include a basic monitoring plan for small offices, a proactive maintenance plan for multi-site customers, and an enterprise analytics package with dedicated integration support. Quotes provided to commercial customers are valid for the stated period in the proposal.
We accept electronic payments such as credit card, bank transfer and approved corporate purchase orders. Invoices to business customers will include KintaTair business details and Business ID 860910491069 for Malaysia tax reporting. Payment terms are specified in the order and may require upfront payment for hardware orders.
Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled in accordance with these terms. Example: a monthly monitoring plan renews each month and can be cancelled before the next billing cycle to avoid renewal charges.
Refunds are handled case by case. For hardware defects reported within a defined warranty window we will assess and may offer repair, replacement, or refund according to the warranty terms. For digital services, refunds are uncommon once services have been delivered, but KintaTair will consider exceptional circumstances such as demonstrable billing errors or failure to provide contracted services.
To cancel a paid subscription, follow the account cancellation procedure or contact billing support at [email protected]. Example: cancel a pilot subscription at the end of the trial period to avoid conversion to a paid plan; cancellation instructions and timelines are provided at signup.
Customers are responsible for applicable taxes, duties or levies associated with purchases. KintaTair will identify taxes on invoices where required. Business customers in Malaysia should provide relevant tax identifiers for invoicing.
KintaTair may change pricing for services with advance notice for existing subscribers where required by contract. New customers will be charged current published rates at the time of order. Example: a change in cloud hosting costs may result in a revised subscription fee announced 30 days before implementation.
Non-payment may lead to suspension of services, withholding of device provisioning, or collection actions. We will provide notice and a grace period before suspension where practical. Example: repeated missed payments for an enterprise contract may trigger temporary suspension of analytics exports until accounts are brought current.
Disclaimer
KintaTair provides devices and analytics to assist operational decisions about indoor environments. The services are not a substitute for professional engineering, medical, legal or safety advice. Sensor readings and AI-derived recommendations are intended to support operational workflows and should be validated in context of each site. Example: adjust HVAC setpoints based on a combination of KintaTair insights and a qualified HVAC technician's review.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, KintaTair is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of the services. Liability for direct damages is limited to amounts paid by you to KintaTair under the applicable order in the 12 months preceding the claim, except where otherwise required by law. Example: KintaTair is not responsible for lost business or reputational harm resulting from interruption of third-party integrations.
Third-party services and integrations
When you use integrations with third-party platforms (e.g., building management systems, cloud providers), you do so under that third party's terms. KintaTair is not responsible for third-party performance, security, or privacy practices. Example: when forwarding telemetry to a partner analytics platform, that partner's retention and access controls apply to data stored on their systems.
Termination
Either party may terminate services in accordance with the order terms or for material breach if the breach is not remedied within a specified cure period. KintaTair may terminate services immediately for violations of law, security threats, or serious misuse. Example: termination for repeated tampering with device firmware that poses a network risk.
Upon termination, access to the services will be disabled. KintaTair will retain customer data only as required by law or as set out in contract; archived billing or warranty records may be retained for a defined period. Customers should export necessary data prior to termination where operational continuity is required.
Privacy
KintaTair processes personal data in accordance with its Privacy Policy effective 03-05-2026. The Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store and disclose personal data and how to exercise privacy rights. Practical examples and contact details are provided in the Privacy Policy on KintaTair.link.
Communications and notifications
You consent to receive service-related communications by email, in-app messages or phone where necessary for account management, security alerts, or billing. Marketing communications are subject to opt-in preferences. Example: scheduled maintenance notices will be sent to registered administrators, while promotional invitations are only sent to users who opted in.
Changes to terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on KintaTair.link with the effective date. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Example: adding a new enterprise support tier will be reflected in an updated order form and these Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Disputes arising under these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Penang, Malaysia, unless the parties agree to an alternative dispute resolution process.
Dispute resolution
Before initiating formal proceedings, parties should seek to resolve disputes through good-faith negotiations. Example: for a billing dispute between a local integrator and KintaTair, the parties may agree to mediation in Penang before court action.
